The following is a guide to help you choose the right carpeting for each room in your home.

Location/Use:
How much traffic does your room endure? For heavy traffic areas, you should always choose the best carpet you can afford. Look for high performance ratings for any room that is the center of family activity.

Color: Because carpeting is the foundation of a room's décor, color is an important consideration. Carpet color is often a personal choice. While warm colors can heat up a room with little light, cooler colors (greens & blues) can have a calming effect. For high traffic areas, dark colors and textures help hide stains and abuse.

Textures & Patterns: Improved carpet technology allows you to choose from several carpet textures and patterns. A solid colored, textured carpet can add interest and excitement, without being overbearing, to any room in your house.

Cost: Price is often a key factor when selecting carpets and rugs. Always ask yourself how long you plan on keeping a carpet before purchasing it. Better quality products, which often last longer, are more expensive than lesser quality carpets. Mid-priced carpets are good for rooms that receive little traffic.

Laminate

Laminate floors are usually much less expensive than wood or natural stone flooring material, and are a reasonable solution for remodeling or enhancing your home or office.  Laminate flooring possesses a monolithic function once each plank or tile is clicked into one another, without the use of glue, staples, nails, or cementitious compounds. Installed laminate floors typically "float" over the sub-floor on top of a foam/film underlayment, which is meant to provide moisture and sound-reducing properties.

Laminate floors are considered to be very low-maintenance when compared to wood floors. Unlike natural wood, laminate floors do not require waxing, oiling or staining. It is important to keep laminate clean, as dust, dirt and sand particles may scratch the decorative surface over time in high-traffic areas. It is also important to keep laminate relatively dry, since sitting water/moisture can cause the planks to swell, warp, etc, though some brands are equipped with water-resistant coatings. Water spills aren't a problem if they're wiped up quickly, and not allowed to sit for a prolonged period of time.

Adhesive felt pads are often placed on the feet of furniture on laminate floors to prevent scratching.

Hardwood (Finished and Pre-Finished)

Hardwood flooring is not only a design choice; it’s also an environmental choice. Wood floors are a renewable resource, environmentally friendly, and can improve the air quality of your home because they don’t trap dust, pollen and other allergens. Help save the environment, and improve the health of your family — redecorate with hardwood floors!

Prefinished hardwood has a durable and consistent factory finish. No finishing is needed which allows for quick installation, and eliminates the noise and dust associated with hardwood installation.

Unfinished hardwood
is the traditional style of flooring that requires a finish or stain to complete the look of the floor. Unfinished floors allow for more options for colors, stains and finishes, but requires lengthy installation due to the finishing process.

Our hardwood finishing process is state-of-the-art, we protect your environment around you while finishing the flooring by our clean vaccum sanding system, no dust or debris present, keeping your home dust free during the installation.

We carry a large selection of prefinished and unfinished hardwoods including:
